So another week is almost in the can, and it has been a long one for Bree and I.
Well, more Bree this week than myself, but still very busy for both.
I have been working hard at both The Grill, auditioning and in my Scene Study class, which I had last night. I'm working on "Taming of the Shrew" which is quite the blast. I haven't been doing as much acting as I would like, since I have been doing more auditioning and taking CD workshops to network, which has been working in a mixed manner. I haven't been booking anything lately, which is starting to get on my nerves... it's okay tho, you go thru downtimes and uptimes, and I know the up-swing is right around the bend.
I'm still working hard to get a theatrical agent, doing mailing, auditioning and such.
I was also sick this week for the first time... in a really long time, which was strange. I think I might have had a bad sub.
And then Bree, well she has been really burning the candle from both ends. She has a huge audition for Ms. Horrorfest 2007 on Friday, which she took some pictures for today. Plus she had a producers session (or straight-to-callback audition) for "Without a Trace" (third time is the charm!) And she has been working, taking at least one class every day/night (some days two or more) and overall, just kicking alot of ass. She is doing such a great job, and while I know she is a little tuckered out, I am so proud of her and all of her hard work!
Keeping busy but making time to keep my friends and family updated!
First off - love and miss you guys!
So this week I started my new scene study class with Steppenwolf West. This class is so great - in the first night, we sat down, talked about what we wanted aout of class, who we were, and what kind of scenes we brought in. Then, after a break, we came back and read thru some of the scenes (did two rounds of this) and then called it a night.
The group of students are all great, hardworking and fun. My teacher is cool, has a ton of great thoughts about acting and my being in class is really bringing back the fun to acting - making me see the real reason I got into this crazy ass life in the first place! Just a wonderful time had by me!
So this week I have been hitting the gym hard - working toward my goals and making new strides everyday! So that is going great...
Work is same old, same old - we are not as busy as a few weeks ago, but I am still making money, enough to live, and that is what matters!
I had two great auditions this week - one for Pepsi Amp and another for Home Depot, and I was on the Chelesy Lately Show on E! this week - well, I taped this week, I'm not really sure when I am going to air... if they use my spot at all, but still alot of fun!
And I met with a wonderful theatrical agent this week - she loved my work and my resume, wanted to see my reel, which I finally got finished pciking scenes for last night and my buddy from AFI is going to edit together for me! So that should be some good news coming soon...
Other than that... just looking forward to Christmas (when we can come home and see everyone), looking forward to next summer already! (I cannot wait!!!!) and just kicking as much ass and working as hard as we can!
Back again soon! Till then, love ya guys!

PS - Saw "Shoot 'Em Up" Yesterday - GO see this movie - it was one of the most fun action movies I have seen... ever!
So this week was super cool - my buddys from McHenry came out to visit for the week. We went to Sea World and the Zoo in San Diego (the Zoo, not so fun, but Sea World was a blast as it always is!), also did Universal (where the studio tour was in Spanish... don't know how we ended up in that line, and I love that no one thought to point out to us that we were the only white kids standing in this line!) Toured Hollywood, saw the cool huge houses of the stars, did lunch on Rodeo Drive, went to the beach in Santa Monica, had dinner on Sunset Plaza where all the stars eat, saw the new Halloween at the Grahman's Theatre, saw the hand prints and Walk of Fame, ate at the Hard Rock and did tons of other really cool stuff! I was really sad to see them go, but I am hoping that now that they have had a taste of LA, they will want more and might pack up and head west! (Hint hint! We miss you guys already!)
So, a big couple of weeks, per norm, I have not updated because I am lazy sack... but here you go.
Last week, I had my first TV audition for "The Ghost Whisperer". I was playing an ER Doctor, I had a whole page scene, so it was really cool. I didn't book it, as the episode is filming this week, but it was still a blast to finally get my first TV audition since moving to LA! I went to Universal, got a drive-on for the lot and auditioned right across for the Imagine Entertainment Building (Which is Ron Howard and Brian Graizer's company) So it was an amazing first for me, and I was very proud of myself! Go me!
Bree had two cool audtions this past week - one for iCarly (I think I spelled that right - it is a Nick kids show) and for a late night TV promo! Good job for her!
Also, Tuesday a start my 12-week scene study class with Steppenwolf West, which is going to be taugh by Tom Iriwn. Should be alot of fun, and I am hoping to learn all of great things.
Bree and I have been working our tails off, taking a bunch of workshops and CD classes over the past few weeks, we have been goal setting and working toward them.
The Bourne short I did got picked up by an online TV site called Shortbrain.tv - which lets you download it to you phone, or watch it on Demand! Which is really great - as such, we are looking to move forward with our online sitcom idea - Bree and I are reading thru the first scripts for the pilot this week - I finished part one and I loved it! So we shall see what happens with that...
What else... looking forward to Christmas and getting to see everyone. Miss everyone a lot - I just watched Skafee's DVD again (or watched the DVD version for the 1st time) and just cried and smiled, thinking of all the people that I love and miss and all the support and just how f'n cool my life is! To have so many great friends, family and support - to be living my dream of working toward and becoming a working actor! What a f'n blast the ride is so far and how much cooler it gets with every day that passes!
I love you all!
